Andros 2012
Lets go fishing while we still can!

Alaska is always my special fishing place and the home for Mystic Waters.  However, the fishing calendar is endless and before the projected apocalypse in Dec 2012, I figure I’m going to get in as much fly fishing as possible.  With that in mind, I’m planning dates for several hosted trips.  During May 2011, I am taking a group to Islamorada Florida for some giant tarpon action and general good fun.

Captains Jeremy Fischer and Eric Lund Spring 2011

At the same time, Stacy will be down in Baja, running his new 23’ Cobia and chasing down Rooster Fish and other legendary salt water creatures.  If all goes well, we plan to offer Baja in the spring of 2012.  Stacy is already experienced down there; he’s just not had the mobility of owning his own boat.   I have made several trips and want to go back asap.

Rebecca Garlock at Andros South with a fine Bonefish

I have been talking with Andrew Bennett from Deneki Outdoors about hosting a week at Andros South in the Bahamas.  They have a sweet location in the newly professed bonefish capital of the world.  Lots of water with little pressure and lots of bonefish, some of them very nicely sized.  It sounds like a visit is in order.  Right now, we are holding March 24-31, 2012.  Early November is also a possibility.

If anyone is interested in a remote trip for Kings in western Alaska in 2012, that might just find its way onto the schedule as well.  We will be looking at the first two weeks of July.
